With spring in full swing, we can already feel the warmth in the air. Being a spring-child, I love everything about this season; a little bit of chill and a bit of warmth. So, keeping up with the momentum of this season that bids adieu to the chill and welcomes the warmth of summers, I recently got the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions palette on my birthday. Now, although cool-toned colors look soothing and stunning when the makeup is done right, I personally believe warm colors suit Indian skin type most.
This palette by Huda screams warmth from the packaging to the products itself. A mix of 8 matte colors and 1 gorgeous shimmery copper color is sure to take your breath away. Justifying the name, this palette includes some beautiful browns, reds, and oranges, but in heated tones that can amp up your look. All the colors in this eyeshadow palette are buttery soft, highly pigmented, and quite easy to work with. Blending is an easy game with this palette. Since, this is the only variant from the obsessions range by Huda Beauty that I have tried, the pigments in this one have convinced me to get my hands on the other variants as well. Although apparently this might look like a small palette due to its condensed size, however, being highly pigmented, you will take quite a long time to hit pan for these eyeshadows. The neutrals in these palettes are buildable, which allows you to make your mistakes and rectify. On the other hand, you have to be really careful with the reds and oranges in this palette. From a warm day time look to a sultry night time look, with this palette you can play around and create versatile looks. What’s more? Being lightweight and compact in packaging, you can carry these eyeshadows around without the hassle of carrying multiple palettes. Now, let’s talk about the price point. This palette is available online for Rs. 2500. As we all know Huda Beauty products are a tad expensive in India, still I will recommend you to get one for yourself. Why? Let’s look at the pros:
