I have always been a dreamer; an avid one whose dreams knew no bounds. Generally all my dreams are vivid and colorful in nature, with an element of humor in them. This one particularly, is quite vibrant with main characters of my dreams played by very close friends and colleagues of my office. There are some interesting guest appearances to this scene as well, whose names I can’t disclose. So, readers, please excuse that.
In my dream, we (Sumauli, Ruhi di, Annie di, Biju Di and me) happen to participate in some kind of reality show where we are assigned tasks. On completion of those, we will be taken to the next level. However, my dream ends before we reach the next level… Yeah! Never mind. Let’s get on with the dream. The reality show is being conducted on some island with natural settings akin to Pandora (Yes, I am talking about Avatar’s Pandora). So, the natural beauty is awesome and quite spellbinding. In this specific task around which my dream revolves, is divided into two sections. So, automatically the group had to be divided into two sections as well. One group had to execute the task on land and the other one was responsible to carry out their share under water. Since, I am not a swimmer and quite petrified of the idea as well, I chose the land task. My companion on the task was Anindita Das a.k.a. Annie di. The group going underwater was Sumauli Mukherjee a.k.a Sumo (a trained swimmer), Bijoeeta Choudhury a.k.a. Biju di (another trained swimmer) and Ruhi Banerjee a.k.a Ruhi di. (eer.. am not sure why I saw her to be a great swimmer as I have never heard her to be one, but I guess it’s okay). So, the task on land comprised of searching a hidden weapon that would give clue for the next round and the underwater task demanded the group to fetch a key secured by someone of high importance, waiting in the waters. On the mark of whistle, me and annie di start our search above and the three swimmers jumped into the adjacent lake. Annie di and I, while searching everywhere came to a point where we saw the home tree of the Navi’s of Pandora and were completely absorbed appreciating the beauty of the place. Suddenly, the ground starting rotating giving us the 3D view of the home tree; surrealistic. Nothing less can be termed to the visual treat we were experiencing. Just when I asked Annie di to take a picture of the scene, a senior colleague appeared in the scene. She had recently been detected with some weird disease, which had freaked me out the other day at office. So, her sudden appearance was enough to make me scared and run for my life. On the other hand, the three swimmers (Sumo, Biju di and Ruhi di) were delightfully swimming under waters looking for the key. In their search, they came to a place where a senior colleague of our office (He Who Must Not Be Named) was seen sitting in black Bermudas and vest covering a metal box and a key. It was this group’s task to take the key and the metal box from him and emerge above. The protector was easily identified with one lock of his hair dancing to the tunes of sea, so these people seeing him from afar were already planning how to get the key and box out of him. On approaching the master, he said, “it’s easy to get the key... don’t panic. I am here to help. All you haaaaave to do is ssshhhow your Feennnnnnnng Office report. How mannnny hours you have worked.” Surprised, confused and on the verge of breaking into laughter, the three musketeers could somehow fool the protector and sneak the key and box to swim back towards the land. While on the land, all I was capable of was running the entire ground with the diseased colleague shouting behind my back and Annie di somewhere sitting ideally; blissfully having her favorite Kathali Kola (small bananas). I have no clue why I saw this dream, or what this entire episode means; but surely had a great laugh in the morning that started a day on a pleasant note. Feedbacks on this are most welcome from dream analysts. Surely, you can help me understand my mind better, I guess. And friends do share what you think about my warped brain and its weird dreams… |
